We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet
For days of auld lang syne
-Robert Burns
One day each month, usually the third Tuesday, the Loose Caboose gives fifty cents from every drink we sell to a local non-profit. It is a core part of our philosophy to give back to the community. The long list of charitable organizations we have supported have one thing in common: they are led by or affect Missoulians whose faces we see at our window. They have included Search and Rescue, Firefighters, Aging Services, Food Banks, Animal Shelters, Suicide Prevention, Youth Programs, Arts and Music organizations, Land and Water conservation groups and much more. In addition to the Cup of Kindness program, we also consciously support our community through program ads, youth sports sponsorships and donations.
YWCA Missoula opens doors to opportunity and self-sufficiency for women and families facing poverty, violence and discrimination. With over 110 years of experience, the YWCA is the leading organization in Missoula for moving women and families out of crisis and empowering them to achieve lasting independence. YWCA Missoula is a mighty force of roughly 50 paid staff and more than 200 volunteers—including members of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, AmeriCorps VISTA and the community, as well as practicum and intern students.
We care deeply about our community and want to always support the city that made us home – Missoula.
